Before you start
What to have ready and how the prompts in this toolkit work.
Start a chat with an AI assistant that can read files and create images, such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Copilot. Use only a tool your chapter permits, especially for meeting transcripts and anything with member details.
Give the assistant the toolkit
The assistant can only use what you share with it. You have three options, from best to simplest:
- Connect it to the toolkit. This site runs an MCP server that lets Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and other assistants search and read every page here on their own. See Connect your AI assistant.
- Paste links. Every page has a markdown version: add
.mdto its address, or use the copy button at the top of the page. Share the Branding page and one or two examples you like. - Attach files. Download the logo, the brand guide, and a favorite example, and attach them to the chat. Attach a speaker photo if you want it included.
How the prompts work
Each prompt has a copy button. Paste it into the chat, then replace everything in square brackets with your details. Rough notes are fine. Write "not confirmed" for anything you do not know; the prompts tell the assistant to leave unconfirmed facts out of published copy and to ask for essentials in one short list.
Review everything the assistant produces before it goes out. The prompts ask for drafts and never for anything to be sent or published.
Use the exact host name
Greater Boston Chapter, Region VIII, and Manufacturing Practice Specialty are different hosts and are not interchangeable. Keep the host separate from a speaker's employer.
