Branding
Colors, fonts, logo, and layout rules for ASSP community materials.
Official source: ASSP Communities Brand Guidelines, version 2.0, February 2021. See the PDF for logo spacing, size, and typography specifications.
Quick start
Use green, gold, and black as the main palette, with white and grey as supporting colors. Keep logos in their original proportions and colors, away from busy imagery. Use the full-color website PNG on a light background; its small size makes it unsuitable for large print work.
Use Ingra when licensed and available; Arial is the documented fallback for editable materials. Prefer sentence case for body copy and readable, concise headlines.
Colors
The official palette with HEX values, plus two optional event reference colors.

Layout rules

Event brief
The details to collect before creating any event materials.
Scope
This guidance supports ASSP event materials. Keep the organizer name specific to each event: Greater Boston Chapter, Region VIII, and Manufacturing Practice are not interchangeable.
Known issues in the examples
Use the examples for tone and layout, not as a source of facts or logo treatment.
- Logo: most 2025–2026 Greater Boston flyers use a black-and-white shield. The official guide reserves black and white for when color is not available. Use the full-color logo by default.
- The January 2026 technical meeting flyer misspells the speaker as "Bartletta". The correct spelling is Peter Barletta.
- December 2025 EI webinar: the LinkedIn post says CEUs "pending approval"; the later email and website copy say "approved". Both were accurate when written. State CEU status as confirmed at the time of writing.
