“Emotional Intelligence in Safety Leadership: Leading Humans Safely Through the AI & Robotic Revolution”

Formal CEU Title:

Webinar – Emotional Intelligence and Safety Leadership in AI & Robotic Work Environments

Location:

Virtual Webinar – Microsoft Teams

  • Date/Time: Thursday, December 18, 2025

4:00 PM – 6:00 PM (2 hours)

  • CEU Request: 0.2 CEUs (2 Contact Hours)

Event Description

Technological transformation is reshaping the safety profession. As organizations accelerate the adoption of artificial intelligence, robotics, automation, and computer-vision–driven safety systems, leaders must be equipped to guide teams through both the technical and the emotional impacts of change.

This virtual technical meeting brings together two nationally recognized experts—Christopher D. Connors, one of the world’s leading voices on emotional intelligence, and Michael “Miki” Alroy, a safety executive working at the frontier of robotics and AI risk management. Together, they will provide a powerful, integrated look at how emotional intelligence enhances safety leadership and promotes trust, adoption, and human-machine collaboration in technology-enabled workplaces.

Participants will learn how emotional intelligence supports organizational readiness, reduces resistance to new technologies, strengthens psychological safety, and improves safety outcomes during AI and robotics deployment. Through case studies, live polls, leadership frameworks, and practical takeaways, attendees will gain actionable strategies for modernizing their safety leadership approach.
