Hidden Hazards, Real Consequences

Managing Asbestos, Lead, PCBs, and Environmental Contamination Risks in Construction, Renovation & Redevelopment

Every experienced construction professional has heard the phrase:

"Nobody told us that was there."

Whether it's asbestos hidden above a ceiling, lead-coated structural steel, PCB-containing building materials, buried fuel tanks, or contaminated soil discovered during excavation, unexpected environmental hazards continue to impact worker safety, delay schedules, increase project costs, and create significant regulatory challenges.

Through real-world case studies and interactive exercises, attendees will gain practical strategies to recognize, evaluate, and manage these risks before they become project failures.

Who Should Attend?

This program is ideal for:

  • Safety Professionals
  • General Contractors
  • Construction Managers
  • Project Managers
  • Superintendents
  • Field Engineers
  • Owners & Developers
  • Environmental & Engineering Consultants
  • Facilities Professionals
  • Risk Management Professionals

Bring Your Project Team

The strongest safety cultures aren't built by one personβ€”they're built by teams that learn together.

We encourage Massachusetts construction companies to send their:

πŸ‘· Superintendents

πŸ“‹ Project Managers

🦺 Safety Professionals

πŸ—οΈ Operations Leaders

πŸ“ Field Engineers

The lessons learned during one afternoon can help prevent months of project delays, costly incidents, unexpected discoveries, and unnecessary risk.

Following the program, stay for networking and appetizers while connecting with construction and safety professionals from across Massachusetts.
